Temple Adas Shalom, in conjunction with our Kehillah MAGNET Religious School, offers programs and activities to engage the littlest members of our community, along with their older siblings, parents and grandparents. Throughout the school year we offer a Shabbat Dinner before our Family Shabbat Services, a Tot Shabbat on select Saturday mornings, and a Tot Shira Playgroup on Sundays.
We believe it’s never too early to feel good about being Jewish. All of our programs are open to the public so feel free to invite your neighbors and friends!
FRIDAY NIGHT & weekend MORNING SHABBAT SERVICES
Friday Night Family Shabbat Dinner & Shabbat Services
Join us once a month in celebration of Shabbat with music, food, and fun. Family Shabbat Dinner and Shabbat Services are a primary way to connect Temple Adas Shalom families to one another in a meaningful way with Jewish life and learning. Family Shabbat Services have become a critical part of our Kehillah MAGNET Jewish education curriculum for this year, so attendance for our Religious School students is highly encouraged. .
Our prayer book for Family Shabbat is Mishkan T’filah for Youth, published by the Union for Reform Judaism (URJ).
A family Shabbat dinner will be served starting at 5:30 pm (RSVP required), followed by a dessert Oneg in our social hall after the service.

Sunday Morning Tot Shira Playgroup
Join the Temple Adas Shalom Kehillah MAGNET Religious School for a community Tot Shira Playgroup. This group is open to the entire community, and older siblings are welcome to attend as well. No RSVP is required. We will spend 30 minutes singing Jewish songs and then have 30 minutes where parents and children can play and chat.

Saturday Morning B’nai Mitzvah Services
How empowering to watch a young person lead our community in prayers and rituals! How exciting to listen to a teen chant Hebrew and understand what s/he is saying. How inspiring to listen to fresh, meaningful interpretations of Torah through the lens of Jewish values, history, and culture!
This age-old rite of passage is always personally relevant and meaningful at Temple Adas Shalom, and you are welcome to join us any Friday night for a Shabbat service, and again on Saturday morning or afternoon as our teens become B’nai Mitzvah!
